IDD 021 Saver

All about IDD 021 Saver

You can subscribe to IDD 021 Saver with any bill plan, including those with unlimited talktime.

When you make international calls with your IDD 021 Saver subscription, here’s how your charges work:

  1. Your call minutes are first deducted from your free outgoing talktime bundle.

  2. If you use up your free bundle, any extra minutes (up to 700 minutes in total) are charged at your local outgoing call rate.

  3. For usage more than 700 minutes, any additional minutes are charged at the standard IDD 021 rates for your destination.

No, calls to mobile numbers in Australia, the UK, and New Zealand are not included in your 700-minute bundle. Instead, you’ll be charged a fixed rate for these calls: $0.28/min for Australia, $0.30/min for the UK, and $0.50/min for New Zealand.

IDD 021 Saver calls are billed in per-second blocks with a minimum charge of 1 minute per call. You’ll be charged for 1 minute for each of the two calls. Standard IDD 021 rates for your destination will apply.

To use IDD 021 Saver, just follow these steps:

  1. Dial manually: Enter <021><Country code><Area Code><Phone number>

    Example: 021 60 1 987654321

  2. Or, save the number in your contacts with the 021 prefix and call directly from your contacts.

Tips to ensure you get IDD 021 Saver rates:

  • Always dial manually or from contacts saved with the 021 prefix.

  • Avoid calling from “Missed Calls” or “Call Logs” as these may use IDD 002 rates.

  • Don’t save numbers with a “+” prefix, as this will use IDD 002 rates.

  • Turn off “Dial Assist” or “Assisted Dialling” on your phone.

When you redial an overseas number from your missed calls list, your phone will automatically add a ‘+’ prefix. This means your call will be charged at the Premium IDD 002 rates.
