To use 5G roaming, you’ll need:

  • A 5G-enabled mobile device

  • An active 5Go Access or 5Go Plus Booster subscription

  • A 5G physical SIM or eSIM

When you arrive at your roaming destination, please ensure that 5G network settings are enabled on your device and that you have selected your preferred network.

For iOS users:

Go to Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Options > Voice & Data > set to 5G On, and make sure 5G Standalone is turned on.

For Android users:

Go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Network Mode > set to 5G/LTE/WCDMA/GSM (auto connect).

Device menus may differ by model.

You’ll see a “5G” icon at the top of your device screen when you’re connected to a 5G network.

If you don’t see the icon, check the following:

  1. You have an active 5Go Access or 5Go Plus Booster subscription.

  2. Your device supports 5G SA.

  3. You’re using a 5G physical SIM or eSIM.

  4. Your device’s network settings are set to 5G.

  5. You have an active Data Passport or Daily Passport subscription (for roaming).

  6. 5G roaming is enabled and selected as your preferred network (when overseas).

You will continue to enjoy uninterrupted 4G connectivity when you are not in a 5G network area.
