All local incoming and outgoing calls to any fixed or mobile telephone line, whether from M1 or other operators, are free of charge.
Yes, you can keep your existing fixed line number with our free number retention service.
You can apply at any M1 Shop. Existing M1 Fixed Voice customers may also call our customer hotline at 1627 to apply.
Your number will be ported within 5 working days after your M1 Home Broadband is activated, or within 5 working days from application if you’re already an M1 Home Broadband customer.
Please make sure your number is active and not part of a bundled service when you apply.
All applications are subject to approval by your current operator.
To begin using your Fixed Voice service, simply connect your home phone to the Optical Network Terminal (ONT) installed by M1 using a standard RJ-11 phone cable.
Your ONT needs to be switched on at all times to use M1 Fixed Voice service.
If it’s off, you won’t be able to make or receive calls.

Incoming calls from international numbers are free.
However, do note that outgoing calls to international numbers will be charged at prevailing IDD (International Direct Dialing) rates.

We offer two options:
IDD 002: Premium service with high-quality connections to over 230 countries.
IDD 021: Budget-friendly option with competitive rates for popular destinations.
All outgoing IDD calls made with either service enjoy a 30% discount on the listed per-minute rates.

M1 no longer publishes residential directories as of 2014.
However, in line with regulatory requirements, we provide subscriber names, addresses, and telephone numbers to other fixed-line operators for directory enquiry services (such as 100 telephone enquiry) and integrated directories.
If you do not wish to have your fixed voice number listed, you can request to have it delisted when signing up for a new Fixed Voice service.
Fixed Voice customers are entitled to a one-time free delisting service at the point of sign-up only.
Changes after sign-up are not supported.
You may dial ‘100’ to access the directory enquiry service.
M1 Fixed Voice customers enjoy 3 free directory enquiries per billing month.
A fee of S$0.99 (inclusive of prevailing GST) applies for each additional enquiry thereafter.
To help protect you from potential scams and spam calls, activating this feature will block all incoming calls from international numbers to your Fixed Voice line.
You can still make outgoing calls to international numbers as usual.
You can easily activate or deactivate this feature through My M1+ app.
Open My M1+ app and sign in with your M1 ID.
Select your Fibre service from your list of services.
Go to the “Plans” tab at the bottom of your screen.
Choose “Block International Incoming Calls” to activate or deactivate.
Complete your request by following the steps.
Yes, this service only blocks incoming calls from international numbers.
You can still make outgoing calls to international numbers as usual.
