1.What is NumberShare?
NumberShare is a service that allows you to share your data and talktime from your mobile plan, including Add-ons, with a compatible cellular watch. Even without your phone, you can remain connected, use data and make and receive calls on your watch using the same number.

2.What is the subscription charges and contract period for NumberShare?
There will be a one-time SIM card charge of $38.15 and a monthly subscription charge of $7.03/mth with no minimum subscription period. For a limited period, new NumberShare subscribers enjoy Free 6 months subscription.

3.Who is eligible to subscribe NumberShare?
Customers on selected M1 Postpaid plans and not on Multi-SIM service can sign-up for NumberShare. Prepaid customers are not eligible for NumberShare.

4.You will also need a compatible device -

Apple Watch Series 3 or later (GPS and cellular) with the latest version of watchOS (watchOS 6.1 or later) and a compatible phone - iPhone 6s or later (iOS 13.2 or later with Carrier setting updated to 39.1 or later); OR

Samsung Galaxy Watch LTE or later and any Samsung smartphone with the latest version of Android OS (Android 8.0 Oreo or later).

5.How can I subscribe to NumberShare?
For Apple Watch, you may subscribe to NumberShare via the Apple Watch App on your compatible iPhone. Click here for the user guide
For Samsung Watch, you may subscribe to NumberShare via the Galaxy Wearable App on your Samsung Phone. Click here for the user guide.

Note: For M1 Corporate Customers, please contact your Account Manager for NumberShare subscription details.

6.Can I subscribe NumberShare online or in M1 Shop?
Sign-up for NumberShare is only available via
Apple Watch App on your compatible iPhone
Galaxy Wearable App on a compatible Samsung Phone

7.Can I subscribe to NumberShare for Smart Watches of other brands?
NumberShare is currently only applicable for Apple Watch Series 3 or later and Samsung Galaxy Watch LTE or later.

8.Would only the devices bought from M1 be eligible for NumberShare service?
No. You may subscribe to NumberShare service as long as you have a compatible cellular watch and phone purchased in Singapore.

9.During the subscription process, I am asked to enter credentials (last 4 characters of NRIC and Date of Birth). Whose credentials do I need to input?
Please enter the M1 account holder’s NRIC and Date of Birth.

10.How many NumberShare subscriptions can I have?
Each eligible mobile line can subscribe to one NumberShare service.

11.How do I terminate my NumberShare service?
You may terminate the service via the My M1+ App.
Note: Removing of ‘Cellular Plan’ on the watch will not stop the subscription.

12.Will there be any penalty if the subscription is terminated before 6 months?
No, there is no penalty as there is no minimum contract for the NumerShare service. However, if you are enjoying the free 6 months promotion, do note that monthly subscription of $7.03 will apply should you re-subscribe to the NumberShare service.

13.I need to change my Phone. How can I subscribe to NumberShare on my new Phone?
Your NumberShare subscription will not be affected if you change your Phone. You will need to pair your Watch with the new Phone. Please ensure that the new Phone and OS versions are compatible for the NumberShare service. Refer to the FAQs above for compatible Phone and OS versions.

14.I need to change my NumberShare enabled Watch. How can I enjoy NumberShare service on my new Watch?
You will need to terminate your existing NumberShare service and re-subscribe to it on your new Watch. Please refer to the FAQs above on termination and subscription of NumberShare service. Please note that the subscription charges will apply.

15.I have more than one Watch paired with my Phone. Can I switch my eSIM from one Watch to the other?
You will first need to terminate the NumberShare subscription on your current Watch. You can then subscribe NumberShare on the other Watch. Please note that the subscription charges will apply.

16.I need to change my SIM card in the Phone but will retain the same mobile number. How can I ensure that my NumberShare service will still be available?
Your NumberShare subscription will not be affected when you change your SIM card. No action is required on either your Phone or the Watch after you replace your SIM card.

17.I need to change my mobile number. How can I ensure that my NumberShare service will be available on my new mobile number?
Your NumberShare subscription will not be affected when you change your SIM card. No action is required on either your Phone or the Watch after you replace your SIM card.

18.I need to transfer my mobile line to someone else. Will the NumberShare service still be available on the mobile line?
The service will not be transferred over. Please terminate your NumberShare Service before transfer of mobile line. New subscribers may re-subscribe to the service via the Watch after successful transfer of service.

19.What will happen if I upgrade the OS on the Phone or Watch?
Upgrading of the OS either on Phone or on Watch will not affect the NumberShare service. You will be able to use NumberShare service as before after upgrade.

20.What happens if I accidentally delete the M1 Cellular Plan on the Phone or Watch?
Once the M1 Cellular Plan is deleted from the watch, NumberShare service will no longer be available. However, the service will not be automatically terminated, and the billing will still continue until you terminate the service. Please refer to the FAQs above on how you can terminate the service. Once terminated, you can re-subscribe the service.

21.What will happen if I factory reset my Phone?
Factory resetting of the Phone will not affect your NumberShare service.

22.What will happen if I factory reset my Watch?
During the factory reset of the Watch, you will receive a prompt asking if you wish to keep the M1 cellular plan on your Watch. If you chose to keep the cellular plan on the Watch, the NumberShare service will not be affected after factory reset. If you chose to remove the cellular plan on the Watch, you will need to terminate the NumberShare service. Please refer to the FAQs above on how you can terminate the service. Once terminated, you can re-subscribe the service.

23.What will happen if I switch from Apple to Android device or vice versa?
You will need to terminate NumberShare and subscribe to NumberShare again.

24.I terminated my NumberShare service on my mobile line. What are the charges if I want to reinstate my service?
To reinstate your service, there will be a one-time SIM card charge of $38.15.

25.Can I terminate NumberShare during the 6 month promotional period and reinstate it later to enjoy the prorated trial period?
If you terminate NumberShare during the 6 month promotion period, monthly subscription of $7.03 will apply should you re-subscribe to the NumberShare service.

26.Can I make/ receive calls on my Watch even when my Phone is switched off?
NumberShare enables you to make/receive calls when your phone is switched off on your Apple Watch while connected on WiFi or Cellular; or on your Samsung Watch while on cellular connectivity.

27.Can I use my Watch when I am in overseas if I subscribed to NumberShare?
NumberShare is not supported while roaming overseas as the cellular of the watch is not available. You will not be able to use data, make and receive calls and SMS on your watch while roaming.

28.Would I be able to use M1 Caller Number Non-Display service on the Apple or Samsung Watch in cellular mode?
If you have subscribed to M1’s Caller Number Non-Display service together with the NumberShare service, Caller Number Non-Display will still be available on the Phone but not on the Watch.

29.Can I send or receive SMS on my watch with NumberShare?
SMS feature is device dependent; you can continue to send and receive SMS on your mobile phone.

For Apple Watch, you can only receive iMessage.
For Samsung Galaxy Watch LTE/Active2 LTE, this feature is supported by signing up for the Samsung Account on your Galaxy Wearable App.
