1. What is NumberShare?
NumberShare lets you share your mobile plan’s data and talktime with a compatible cellular watch. Stay connected, use data, and make or receive calls on your watch—even when your phone isn’t with you.
2. Who can subscribe to NumberShare?
NumberShare is available to customers on selected M1 Postpaid plans. Prepaid customers are not eligible. Eligible plans include:
- Bespoke SIM-Only
- Bespoke Contract
- Bespoke Flexi
- Family Line
- Bespoke SIM-Only (Business)
- Bespoke Contract (Business)
- Bespoke Flexi (Business)
Numbershare cannot be used on plans who have subscribed to Multi-SIM service.
3. What are the charges and contract terms?
A one-time eSIM card charge of $38.15 and a monthly subscription fee of $7.03 apply, with no minimum contract period.
Promotions:
- 3 months free for new subscribers on eligible plans
- Waiver of eSIM card charge for customer on Bespoke Contract/ Contract (Business) and Bespoke Flexi / Flexi (Business).
4. What devices are compatible?
- Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) or laterwith watchOS 6.1+ and iPhone 6s or later (iOS 13.2+, Carrier setting 39.1+)
- Samsung Galaxy Watch LTE or laterwith any Samsung phone running Android 8.0+
NumberShare is not available for other brands.
5. How do I subscribe?
- Apple Watch:Use the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
- Samsung Watch:Use the Galaxy Wearable app on your Samsung phone.
Note: Corporate customers, please contact your Account Manager.
6. Can I subscribe NumberShare online or in M1 Shop?
Sign-up is only available via the Apple Watch app (iPhone) or Galaxy Wearable app (Samsung phone).Sign-up is not available online, Customer Service Hotlines/Livechat or at M1 Shop.
7. Do I need to buy my devices from M1?
No. Any compatible cellular watch and phone purchased in Singapore will work.
Note: Devices purchased outside Singapore may not work with M1 NumberShare.
8. During the subscription process, I am asked to enter credentials (last 4 characters of NRIC and Date of Birth). Whose credentials do I need to input?
Enter the M1 account holder’s NRIC (last 4 characters) and Date of Birth during sign-up.
9. How many NumberShare subscriptions can I have?
Each eligible mobile line can have one NumberShare service.
10. How do I terminate NumberShare?
You may terminate the service via the My M1+ app.
Note: Removing the ‘Cellular Plan’ from your watch does not stop the subscription.
11. Will there be any penalty if the subscription is terminated before 3 months?
No, there is no penalty as there is no minimum contract for the NumerShare service. However, if you re-subscribe to the NumberShare service, you will not be able to enjoy the Free 3 months promotion again.
12. What if I change my phone, watch, SIM card, or mobile number?
- Change phone:Pair your watch with the new phone (must be compatible).
- Change watch:Terminate and re-subscribe on the new watch (charges apply).
- Change SIM card or mobile number:No action needed; service continues.
- Switch between Apple and Samsung:Terminate and re-subscribe (charges apply).
13. What if I transfer my mobile line to someone else? Will NumberShare service be carried over?
No, service will not be transferred over. We recommend you to terminate NumberShare before performing transfer of ownership. New owner can subscribe after successful transfer of service.
14. What if I upgrade my phone or watch OS?
Upgrading your OS does not affect NumberShare.
15. What if I delete the M1 Cellular Plan or factory reset my Phone or Watch?
- Delete Cellular Plan:NumberShare stops working, but billing continues until you terminate via My M1+ app.
- Factory reset phone:No impact.
- Factory reset watch: During reset of watch, if you chose to keep the cellular plan, NumberShare service will continue. If you remove it, you will need to terminate the service via My M1+ app and re-subscribe via your watch app. (Charges apply)
16. Can I switch my service between Apple and Android device?
Yes, you can. However, you need to terminate NumberShare on your current watch, then subscribe on the new one (Charges apply).
17. What are the charges if I reinstate NumberShare?
eSIM card charge of $38.15 and a monthly subscription fee of $7.03 apply.
18. Can I terminate during the 3-month promo and reinstate later to enjoy the prorated trial period ?
No, the remaining free period will not be reinstated.
19. Can I make/receive calls on my watch if my phone is off?
Yes, if your watch is connected to WiFi or cellular (Apple) or cellular (Samsung).
20. Can I send or receive SMS on my watch?
SMS feature is device dependent; you can continue to send and receive SMS on your mobile phone.
- Apple Watch:Only iMessage is supported.
- Samsung Galaxy Watch LTE:SMS supported via Samsung Account on Galaxy Wearable app.
21. Can I use NumberShare overseas?
No, NumberShare is not supported while roaming.
22. Can I use Caller Number Non-Display with NumberShare?
No, Caller Number Non-Display works on your phone, but not on your watch.
