Citi M1 Card

1. Citi M1 Rebate will be earned on M1 bills only when payments of your monthly M1 bills (registered with your NRIC/Passport/FIN) are automatically debited to your Citi M1 Card on a recurring basis.

2. Citi M1 Card supplementary cardmembers will not be eligible for extra Citi M1 Rebate on their M1 bills.

1. Redemption of Citi M1 Rebate for free purchases at M1 Shops

  • Citi M1 Rebate may be used to redeem against purchases at M1 Shops but not against purchases at M1 concessionaires, dealers, distributors and agents.

5. 10% off handphone accessories at M1 shops

  •  On top of that, you still continue to earn 1% Citi M1 Rebate for purchases charged to your Citi M1 Card.


Note: 0.7% Citi M1 Rebate will be earned instantly at the point of sales while 0.3% will be credited at the end of each statement cycle.

Definitions:
            1.1 “Citi” or “Citibank" refers to Citibank Singapore Limited.

            1.2 “M1” refers to M1 Limited.

            1.3 “Eligible Card” refers to Citi M1 Platinum Visa basic card only.

            1.4 “Eligible Cardmember” refers to an individual who:
                        1.4.1 has applied for the Eligible Card through an on-line acquisition channel; and
                        1.4.2 does not have an *existing Citi Credit Card (as a main cardmember) at the time of his/her application for the Eligible Card; and
                        1.4.3 does not hold any Eligible Card as a primary Cardmember and did not hold an Eligible Card as a primary Cardmember that was terminated within twelve (12) months prior to his/her application for the Eligible Card; and
                        1.4.4 has not already submitted an application for a Citi Credit Card as a main cardmember, which is pending approval, at the time of his/her application for the Eligible Card; and
                        *For clarity, an existing Citi Credit Card account includes an application to upgrade an existing Citi Credit Card as well as an application for a Citi Credit Card that has been approved by Citibank even if the physical Citi Credit Card has not been received by the customer and/or has not been activated or utilized by the customer.

            1.5 “Promotion Period” means the period from 01 August 2023 to 31 July 2024 (both dates inclusive) since M1 have reached agreement with Citibank to extend the promotion till end July.

            1.6 “New-to-Bank Card Customer” is a new Citibank Credit Card Cardmember who does not hold any primary Citibank Credit Card at point of credit card application and/or must not have closed/terminated any of his/her Citibank Credit Card within twelve (12) months prior to his/her application for the Eligible Card.

            1.7 "Qualifying Spend" refers to any retail transactions (including internet purchases) which do NOT arise from (i) any Equal Payment Plan (EPP) purchases, (ii) refunded / disputed / unauthorised / fraudulent retail purchases, (iii) Quick Cash and other instalment loans, (iv) Citi PayLite / Citi FlexiBill / cash advance / quasi-cash transactions / balance transfers / annual card membership fees / interest / goods and services taxes, (v) bill payments made using the Eligible Card as a source of funds, (vi) late payment fees, (vii) any other form of service/miscellaneous fees, (viii) Citi PayAll transactions where the customer is not charged the Citi PayAll service fee.

            1.8 “Qualifying Period” refers to the period starting from the Eligible Card approval date to the end of that calendar month (“First Month”) and, two full calendar months immediately after the end of that First Month. Example: if the Eligible Card is approved on 12 August 2023, the Qualifying Period will be from 12 August 2023 (i.e. card approval date) to 31 October 2023 (i.e. two full calendar months starting from August 2023), both dates inclusive.

            1.9 The “spend date” of any Qualifying Spend will be determined by its transaction date based on Singapore Timing (UTC+08:00) and Citibank bears no liability for any late submission or transaction posting of any purchase by any merchant that might affect the Promotion.

 2. Eligible Cardmembers who apply via an on-line channel will qualify to receive cash back set out in the corresponding table below if he/she fulfills all requirements of the Promotion:
            2.1. applies for an Eligible Card during the Promotion Period via an on-line channel (an online channel is an application made via Citibank’s website or a Citibank-owned online application platform) and has his/her application approved and successfully opened within 30 days from the date of application; and

            2.2. successfully establishes a recurring payment arrangement with Citibank where all/or M1 bill(s) is paid via the Eligible Card for the next consecutive 12 months; and

            2.3. customers must meet the Qualifying Spend Amount during the Qualifying Period on his/her Eligible Card that he/she holds as a main cardholder as set out in the table below.

3.  Fulfillment of Welcome Offer when the Eligible Cardmember fulfills requirements during the Qualifying Period:
            3.1. The Welcome Offer of S$300 cash back (“Welcome Offer”) will be credited to the Eligible Card within three (3) calendar months from the end of the Qualifying Period given that all the conditions in Clause (2) have been satisfied.

            3.2. The Welcome Offer credited under this Promotion (i) cannot be used to offset against any minimum payment due and (ii) cannot be withdrawn from the Citi Credit Card account in cash.

            3.3. In the event that the Eligible Cardmember has accumulated the Qualifying Spend Amount on his/her Eligible Cards or Eligible Account within the Qualifying Period, but has some of his/her transactions made during the Qualifying Period reversed/refunded/rejected, and as a result the Eligible Cardmember no longer meets the Qualifying Spend Amount within the Qualifying Period, Citibank reserves the right to forfeit/clawback the Welcome Offer.

4. Eligible Cardmember will not be entitled to receive any of the Welcome Offer for any of the following reasons:
            (i) the Eligible Cardmember’s Card or any of the Eligible Cardmember’s account(s) with Citibank is/are not in good standing (as determined by Citibank in its discretion and including where the Eligible Cardmember is in default of any payment to Citibank) or is/are inactive / closed / terminated / suspended and/or not activated (whether such inactivity/closure/termination/suspension/inactivation was by Citibank or the Eligible Cardmember or for any reason whatsoever) at any time during the Promotion Period or any time after the Promotion Period up to and including the time of fulfillment of the relevant Welcome Offer; or

            (ii) if Citibank is of the opinion that the Eligible Cardmember had at any time: a) acted fraudulently or dishonestly; and/or b) conducted himself / herself in bad faith or otherwise in an inappropriate manner to gain an unfair advantage against Citibank; or

            (iii) for any reason which Citibank determines in its discretion that the Eligible Cardmember should not be entitled to receive the relevant Gift, such discretion to be exercised reasonably.

5. By participating in this Promotion, Eligible Cardmember authorizes Citibank to send Short Message Service (“SMS”) notifications pertaining to the Promotion to him/her. Eligible Cardmembers also consent to Citi disclosing their data and information (including whether the Eligible Cardmember’s application for the Eligible Card has been approved, the approved Eligible Card number, the Eligible Cardmember’s NRIC/Passport/FIN number and whether or not the Eligible Cardmember is a New-to-Bank Card Customer or Existing-to-Bank Card Customer) to M1 for the purposes of verifying if the Eligible Cardmember is an existing M1 customer, establishing the recurring payment of the Eligible Cardmember’s M1 charges and crediting of cash back under the Promotion.

6. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any advertising, promotional, publicity and other materials relating to or in connection with the Promotion, these terms and conditions shall prevail.

7. Citibank and M1 reserve the right to terminate this Promotion at any time, and/or vary the terms and conditions governing this Promotion from time to time, without having to give any prior notice.

8. Citibank’s and M1’s decision on all matters relating to this Promotion will be at its discretion and will be final and binding on all customers.

9. Citibank shall not be responsible for the quality, merchantability or the fitness for any purpose or any other aspect of the products and/or services provided by third parties. 1. Definitions:

a. “Citi” or “Citibank” refers to Citibank Singapore Limited. 

b. “M1” refers to M1 Limited.

c. “Foreign Currency Spend” refers to spend on Citi M1 Card which is in a currency other than Singapore Dollars.

d. “Promotion” refers to the Citi M1 Foreign Currency Spend Promotion.

e. “Citi M1 Foreign Currency Spend Promotion” (“Promotion”) is applicable for all Citi M1 Credit Cardmembers. 

f. “Cardmember” refers to all customers holding on to a Citi M1 Credit Card.

g. “Citi M1 Credit Card” refers to all Citi M1 Credit Cards issued in Singapore.

h. “Promotion Period” refers to the period from 1 April 2024 to 31 July 2024 both dates inclusive.

i. “Qualifying Spend” refers to a Foreign Currency Spend made to Citi M1 Credit Card which does not arise from any: 

i. annual fees, interest charges, late payment charges, GST, cash advances, instalment/easy/extended/equal payment plans, preferred payment plans, balance transfers, cash advances, quasi-cash transactions, all fees charged by Citibank or third party, miscellaneous charges imposed by Citibank (unless otherwise stated in writing by Citibank);

ii. funds transfers using the card as source of funds;

iii. bill payments (including via Citibank Online or via any other channel or agent);

iv. payments to educational institutions; 

v. payments to government institutions and services (including but not limited to court cases, fines, bail and bonds, tax payment, postal services, parking lots and garages, intra-government purchases);

vi. payments to insurance companies (sales, underwriting, and premiums);

vii. payments to financial institutions (including banks and brokerages);

viii. payments to non-profit organizations; 

ix. betting or gambling (including lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, off-track betting, and wagers at race tracks) through any channel;

x. any top-ups or payment of funds to payment service providers, prepaid cards and any prepaid accounts;

xi. transit-related transactions;

xii. Citi PayAll transactions where the customer is not charged the Citi PayAll service fee; or 

xiii. transactions performed at establishments/businesses/merchants that fall within an excluded Merchant Category or a merchant that has been excluded by the bank, as sent out in www.citibank.com.sg/rwdexcl (this list of excluded Merchant Categories or merchants may be updated from time to time at our discretion and Eligible Cardmembers shall refer to this list for any updates)

 

For the purposes of this Promotion, any Qualifying Spend charged to a supplementary cardholder of Citi M1 Credit Card will be added to the main cardholder’s Qualifying Spend on his main Citi M1 Credit Card.

  1. j. “Qualifying Conditions” refers to the conditions set out in clause 2 below. 
  2. k. “Qualifying Period” refers to the calendar month in which both conditions set out in clause 2 below are met. 
  3. l. “Gift” refers to the S$20 cash rebate that the Eligible Cardmember will earn upon meeting the Qualifying Conditions.

3. Each Qualified Cardmember is limited to one Gift per calendar month during the Promotion Period.

4. For the avoidance of doubt, the Qualifying Spend must be charged to the Citi M1 Credit Card in a currency other than Singapore dollars to meet the Qualifying Conditions. References to Singapore dollar amounts in these terms and conditions refer to the Singapore dollar equivalent in the foreign currency. 

5. Qualifying Spend will be determined by its transaction date based on Singapore Timing (UTC+08:00) and Citibank bears no liability for any late submission or transaction posting of any purchase by any merchant that might affect the Promotion.

6. Activation of M1 Data passport or roaming with M1 Daily passport will be determined by its transaction date based on Singapore Timing (UTC+08:00) 

7. Customers agree that their personal data may be collected and disclosed by M1 for the purpose of verification by Citi of their eligibility for the Promotion.

8. Fulfilment of Gift when the eligible Cardmember meets the Qualifying Conditions during the Qualifying Period:

i. The Gift of S$20 cash rebate will be credited to the main Citi M1 Credit Card within three (3) calendar months from the end of the Qualifying Period given that all the conditions in Clause (2) have been satisfied.

ii. The Gift credited under this Promotion cannot be used to offset against any minimum payment due and cannot be withdrawn from the Citi M1 Credit Card account in cash. 

iii. An Eligible Cardmember whose Citi M1 Credit Card is closed/terminated and/or suspended (whether closed/terminated/suspended by the Eligible Cardmember or Citibank or for any reason whatsoever) during the Promotion Period or before the fulfilment of the Gift will not be entitled to receive any cash rebate on or after the date on which the Citi M1 Credit Card is closed/suspended/terminated.

10. Citibank reserves the right to terminate this Promotion at any time, and/or vary the terms and conditions governing this Promotion including varying any part or all of the Cash rebate or offering a replacement of a similar value at any time, without having to give any prior notice.

In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the terms, such conflict or inconsistency shall, in the absence of any express agreement to the contrary, be resolved in a manner most favourable to M1, to the fullest extent permissible under applicable laws. 

12. M1 reserves the right to refuse any customer’s eligibility for the Promotion at any time in its discretion in the event of such customer’s breach or suspected breach of any of the terms and conditions herein without prior notification or any liability to such customer whatsoever.

13. Citi and M1 reserve the right to vary any terms or conditions of the Promotion. M1 will, where it is practicable to do so, give customers advance notice (which may be through written notice, electronic mail, letters, M1 website, bills or such other forms as M1 deems appropriate) of such changes. 

14. Citi shall not be responsible for the quality, merchantability, or the fitness for any purpose or any other aspect of the items and/or services provided by the merchant. Notwithstanding anything herein, Citi shall not at any time be responsible or held liable for any loss, injury, damage or harm suffered or incurred by or in connection with the items and/or services provided by the M1 whether by the customer or by any other person. All disputes about quality, merchantability, or the fitness of the item and/or services should be resolved directly with M1. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination, or suspension by M1 or Citi of this Promotion shall not entitle any party to any claim or compensation against Citi for any and all losses or damage suffered or incurred as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.

15. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any advertising, promotional, publicity and other materials relating to or in connection with the Promotion, these terms and conditions shall prevail. 

16. Citi’s and M1’s decision on all matters relating to this Promotion will be at its absolute discretion and will be final and binding on all customers.

17. “Citi” or “Citibank” refers to Citibank Singapore Limited. 

18. “M1” refers to M1 Limited.

 Citi x M1 27th Year Anniversary Campaign: S$27 Off Promotion (“Promotion”) Terms and Conditions

Exclusive to Citi M1 Credit Cardmembers Only

1. Definitions:

a. “Citi” or “Citibank” refers to Citibank Singapore Limited. 

b. “M1” refers to M1 Limited.

c. “M1 Shop Spend” refers to spend at M1 Shops, and exclusive distributors of M1 on Citi M1 Card.

d. “Promotion” refers to the Citi x M1 27th Year Anniversary Campaign: S$27 Off Promotion .

e. “Cardmember” refers to all customers holding on to a Citi M1 Credit Card. 

f. “Citi M1 Credit Card” refers to all Citi M1 Credit Cards issued in Singapore.

g. “Promotion Period” refers to the period from 1 April 2024 to 30 June 2024 both dates inclusive.

h. “Qualifying Spend” refers to M1 Shop Spend made to Citi M1 Credit Card which does not arise from any:

i. annual fees, interest charges, late payment charges, GST, cash advances, instalment/easy/extended/equal payment plans, preferred payment plans, balance transfers, cash advances, quasi-cash transactions, all fees charged by Citibank or third party, miscellaneous charges imposed by Citibank (unless otherwise stated in writing by Citibank); 

ii. funds transfers using the card as source of funds;

iii. bill payments (including via Citibank Online or via any other channel or agent);

iv. payments to educational institutions;

v. payments to government institutions and services (including but not limited to court cases, fines, bail and bonds, tax payment, postal services, parking lots and garages, intra-government purchases); 

vi. payments to insurance companies (sales, underwriting, and premiums);

vii. payments to financial institutions (including banks and brokerages);

viii. payments to non-profit organizations;

ix. betting or gambling (including lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, off-track betting, and wagers at race tracks) through any channel; 

x. any top-ups or payment of funds to payment service providers, prepaid cards and any prepaid accounts;

xi. transit-related transactions;

xii. Citi PayAll transactions where the customer is not charged the Citi PayAll service fee; or

xiii. transactions performed at establishments/businesses/merchants that fall within an excluded Merchant Category or a merchant that has been excluded by the bank, as sent out in www.citibank.com.sg/rwdexcl (this list of excluded Merchant Categories or merchants may be updated from time to time at our discretion and Eligible Cardmembers shall refer to this list for any updates) 

 

For the purposes of this Promotion, any Qualifying Spend charged to a supplementary cardholder of Citi M1 Credit Card will be added to the main cardholder’s Qualifying Spend on his main Citi M1 Credit Card.

i. “Qualifying Conditions” refers to the conditions set out in clause 2 below.
j. “Eligible Cardmember” refers to Cardmember who fulfil the Qualifying Conditions as set out in clause 2 below
k. “Gift” refers to the S$27 cash rebate that the Eligible Cardmember will earn upon meeting the Qualifying Conditions.

 

2. Promotion Mechanics (“Qualifying Conditions”)

     a. Eligible Cardmembers will qualify to receive Gift if he/she fulfils all requirements of the Promotion during Promotion Period.

          i. Charge S$600 worth of Qualifying Spend on Eligible Card by Promotion Period 

3. Promotion is only applicable for redemption at M1 Shops, and exclusive distributors of M1:

• M1 Shops Bugis Junction

• M1 Shops Causeway Point 

• M1 Shops Compass One

• M1 Shops IMM Building

• M1 Shops Jurong Point

• M1 Shops NEX 

• M1 Shops Tampines Mall

4. Each Qualified Cardmember is limited to one Gift during the Promotion Period.

5. Qualifying Spend will be determined by its transaction date based on Singapore Timing (UTC+08:00) and Citibank bears no liability for any late submission or transaction posting of any purchase by any merchant that might affect the Promotion.

6. Fulfilment of Gift when the eligible Cardmember meets the Qualifying Conditions during the Promotion Period: 

i. The Gift of S$27 cash rebate will be credited to the main Citi M1 Credit Card within three (3) calendar months from the end of the Promotion Period given that all the conditions in Clause (2) have been satisfied.

ii. The Gift credited under this Promotion cannot be used to offset against any minimum payment due and cannot be withdrawn from the Citi M1 Credit Card account in cash.

iii. In the event that the eligible Cardmember has accumulated the Qualifying Spend amount on his/her eligible card or eligible account within the Promotion Period, but has some of his/her transactions made during the Promotion Period reversed/refunded/rejected, and as a result the eligible Cardmember no longer meets the Qualifying Spend amount within the Promotion Period, Citibank reserves the right to forfeit/clawback the Gift.

7. An Eligible Cardmember whose Citi M1 Credit Card is closed/terminated and/or suspended (whether closed/terminated/suspended by the Eligible Cardmember or Citibank or for any reason whatsoever) during the Promotion Period or before the fulfilment of the Gift will not be entitled to receive any cash rebate on or after the date on which the Citi M1 Credit Card is closed/suspended/terminated. 

8. Citibank reserves the right to terminate this Promotion at any time, and/or vary the terms and conditions governing this Promotion including varying any part or all of the Cash rebate or offering a replacement of a similar value at any time, without having to give any prior notice.

9. This promotion and all services provided by M1 are subject to M1 registration guidelines, General Terms and Conditions and other applicable specific terms and conditions available at m1.com.sg.
