Specific Terms and Conditions for Microsoft Direct Carrier Billing Services

  1. These terms govern the billing of your purchases from the Microsoft Store on Windows 10 Device (“Device”) to your billing account with M1 Limited (“Account”) and shall form a binding agreement between you and M1 Limited ("M1").

  2. You are required to complete a registration process before using the Direct Carrier Billing service ("Service"). Registration will require access to SMS.

  3. By making a purchase through the Service on your Device, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms. You are also deemed to have consented to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data by M1 to third parties including Microsoft, for the purposes of Service provisioning. 

  4. You are allowed to purchase a maximum of $150 (GST inclusive) worth of Microsoft Store items per transaction, up to a maximum total of $300 (GST inclusive) per credit cycle. A credit cycle is a 30-day cycle which starts from the date of your first purchase.  

  5. All payments must be made in Singapore dollars (SGD).

  6. All purchases must be made from the Microsoft Store on your Device, and all purchases will be charged to your Account.

  7. All purchases made on the Microsoft Store through the Service are final and non-refundable.

  8. The payment method which was last used on your Device will be your default payment method. You may switch to Direct Carrier Billing or another payment method when purchasing from the Microsoft Store on your Device.

  9. You continued use of the Service is subject to you maintaining a good credit standing with M1 without outstanding payments. M1 reserves the right to suspend your use of the Service in the event any outstanding payments remain due and unpaid.

  10. M1 reserves the right to suspend your use of the Service at any time at its sole discretion.

  11. M1 does not provide support services in relation to the Microsoft Store and/or in respect of the applications available on the Microsoft Store.

  12. For the avoidance of doubt, the Service is not a Premium Rated Service (PRS).

  13. M1 reserves the right to amend or vary any of these terms. M1 will, where it is practicable to do so, give you advance notice (which may be through written notice, electronic mail, letters, M1 website, bills or such other forms as M1 deems appropriate) of such changes.

  14. M1 shall not be liable to you for any damages or losses suffered in connection with the use of the Service.

  15. You agree to indemnify M1 against any losses, damages or claims against M1 arising from your use of the Service.

  16. Your use of the Service is subject to M1's General Terms and Conditions available at www.m1.com.sg. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between any terms, such conflict or inconsistency shall, in the absence of any express agreement to the contrary, be resolved in a manner most favourable to M1, to the fullest extent permissible under applicable laws.
