    4G is the next-generation mobile network also known as Long Term Evolution (LTE).

  2. What is the speed of M1 4G network?
    M1 4G network can deliver download speeds of up to 300Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50Mbps. The typical download speed range (at fixed locations) is 48.0 - 109.9Mbps.

    The typical speed range refers to the range of download speeds that users can experience 80% of the time based on the specific test conditions and parameters which are stipulated on Testing Time Frame: July to September 2020.

  3. Is 4G data usage charged separately from 3G data usage?
    No, 4G data usage is charged the same as 3G data usage. Your mobile plan’s data bundle and/or add-ons are applicable for both 4G and 3G data usage.

  4. How do I check how much data I have used?
    You can check your data usage via M1 App.

  5. How will I know that I am connected to 4G network on my mobile phone?
    The 4G signal will be indicated on your 4G smartphone signal bar.

  6. I have subscribed to M1’s 4G service. Why is it that my voice calls are made on 3G instead of 4G?
    Please select “VoLTE” under device settings to turn on 4G voice.

  7. Why can’t my 4G smartphone/4G USB stick from overseas work on M1’s 4G network?
    Different operators around the world employ different 4G technology. Your 4G smartphone or 4G USB stick may have been configured to run only on a country-specific 4G network. This may possibly be why it is not compatible with M1’s 4G network.

  8. Can I enjoy 4G speeds on my 4G smartphone when I roam overseas?
    Customers on M1’s 4G network will be able to enjoy 4G roaming services on selected networks. Look for more information here.
