Terms and Conditions

Contract - mySIMe

 

  1. Customers will start their service subscription commitment period from their date of purchase of the subsidised mobile device up to 24 months thereafter (the "Commitment Period").
  2. In the event that the customer prematurely terminates M1's services / downgrades bill plan during the Commitment Period, he shall pay the termination charge stated in the mySIMe Contract.
  3. Customer whose service subscription plan is terminated by M1 during the Commitment Period for payment default or other lawful reasons will also have to pay the termination charge stated in the mySIMe contract.
  4. Customer is not allowed to temporarily disconnect M1's services during the Commitment Period for any reason whatsoever and howsoever arising, including without limitation, losing possession of the subsidised mobile device. In the event the customer chooses to terminate this contract due to the loss of the subsidised mobile device, the termination charge stated in the mySIMe contract shall apply.
  5. Customer who downgrades to a lower subscription service plan during the Commitment Period shall pay M1 the downgrade charge stated in the mySIMe Contract.
    The various service plan groups are set out as follows:

  6. Customer is not allowed to transfer the M1 line bound by mySIMe Contract.
  7. All charges are subject to change in accordance with the prevailing GST rate.
  8. Any other contract with the customer shall continue to apply, unless agreed otherwise by M1.
  9. To the fullest extent permitted by law: 
    1. all mobile devices “Device” are sold on an "as is" and "as available" basis and all warranties express or implied are excluded; and
    2. you confirm that you have examined the Device and that the same is free of any external or other defect (including but not limited to scratches and dents) which would be apparent to you upon your reasonable examination.
  10. In the event M1 provides you with a replacement mobile device ("Replacement"), you acknowledge and agree that such Replacement shall be a replacement handset as determined or provided by the manufacturer to M1 for such purpose in accordance with the manufacturer's policies, terms, and conditions.
  11. M1's General Terms and Conditions published at www.m1.com.sg are deemed incorporated herein and shall apply to this contract. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the terms, such conflict or inconsistency shall, in the absence of any express agreement to the contrary, be resolved in a manner most favorable to M1, to the fullest extent permissible under applicable laws.
