NumberShare on Apple Watch FAQs

 

 

1. Can I send or receive SMS/MMS on my watch with NumberShare?
Yes, you can receive SMS/ MMS on your watch. Please ensure that your paired iPhone is switched on and has data connectivity. You also need to be signed in to iMessage on your iPhone.

2. How would I know if the cellular connectivity on the Apple Watch is enabled?
You can perform the following checks

  1. On your Apple Watch, tap Settings > Mobile Data.
  2. Check that the Plan is “M1 Singapore” and Status is “Connected
  3. On your Apple Watch, open Control Center. To open Control Center, press the Digital Crown, touch and hold the bottom of the screen, then swipe up. Check that the cellular button     is in either of the following states.

 

                 
   The Cellular button turns green when you have a connection.

   The green dots show the signal strength.

               
   The Cellular button turns white when your cellular plan is active,

   but your watch is connected to your iPhone using Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

 

3. Can I make/ receive calls on my Apple Watch even when my iPhone is switched off?
Yes, your Apple Watch can make/ receive calls even when the iPhone is switched off as long as it has either the WiFi or Cellular connectivity.

4. Can I make/ receive calls on a NumberShare enabled Apple Watch when roaming overseas?
NumberShare does not support overseas roaming on Apple Watch using cellular connectivity.
