By the time Captain America: Civil War reached its conclusion, Tony Stark (Iron Man) and Steve Rogers (Captain America) had shaken hands and made up. But just before the end credits start rolling, we see Tony unwinding at the new Avengers base, when he receives a package in the mail from Steve. It includes a note that reads “So no matter what, I promise you, if you need us, if you need me, I’ll be there”. Along with the note, there’s an old-school flip phone.

This flip phone becomes something of an easter egg in Avengers: Infinity War, when Tony finally uses it to get Steve on board to help stop Thanos’ plan. And while incredibly brief, this scene could have played a part in the resurgence of flip phones.
