M1 Cashback Program (“M1 Cashback”) Terms and Conditions:

  1. M1 Cashback is only applicable on M1 Bespoke bill plans of $30 and above, as well as supplementary lines under such bill plans. Once the main line’s bill plan falls below $30, both the main and supplementary line(s) will no longer be able to enjoy M1 Cashback.

  2. Corporate or Corporate Individual lines are not eligible for M1 Cashback.

  3. From the effective date of termination of an M1 Bespoke line and/or the effective date a line is no longer on an eligible M1 Bespoke plan, customer will no longer be eligible for M1 Cashback. All accumulated cashback for the line and supplementary line(s) will be forfeited from the effective date of termination of the Bespoke line. However, M1 may at its discretion, still credit previously accumulated cashback to the customer’s account for the Bespoke line if it remains valid.

  4. To enjoy M1 cashback benefits customer must:
    • access a third-party merchant’s site via M1+ App;

    • complete your purchases at the merchant’s site in the same session at one go e.g. customer must:

      a) not click on any advertising banners, vouchers, coupons, or use different apps, or read any notifications whilst in the merchant’s site. If customer did not complete your purchase at one go, customer must click through the M1+ App again and complete the entire purchase at one go to enable successful tracking;

      b) only open one tab or browser while using M1+ App and accessing any merchant’s site;

      c) not proceed to any other website before completing the transaction at the merchant’s site;

      d) complete the purchase on the merchant’s site within a reasonable period of time;

    • comply with all applicable terms and conditions from M1 and relevant third-party e.g. merchant. Please note that the cashback offers may differ for each merchant and will be determined and may be amended at the discretion of the merchants. The terms and conditions of each cashback offer may differ too. Please note that M1 does not endorse and is not responsible for any third-party site (including any merchant’s site or platform).

  5. Customer is eligible for M1 Cashback for a purchase only if the purchase is successful. If customer refunds, exchanges, or cancels a purchase with a merchant, no cashback will be credited into customer’s account for the purchase.

  6. All cashback amount provided by any third-party will be automatically credited to customer’s billing account for the Bespoke line. The cashback may only be used to offset any payment due under that account. Amongst other, it hence cannot be used for upfront device payments, accessories, or other expenses. Also, it cannot be cashed out.

  7. Cashback amount will be calculated based on transaction amount excluding any taxation (such as GST), shipping and handling. Please review the terms and conditions from each merchant and promotion carefully, as there may be other exclusions and the terms and conditions may be amended by the merchant without notice.

  8. Customer will be able to see the cashback within 120 – 180 days from transaction date if customer has complied with the relevant terms and conditions imposed by M1 and relevant third-party, and the transaction was successfully tracked by M1 Cashback.

  9. Customer agrees that usage of M1 Cashback and disclosure of your personal data to M1 is subject to M1 Data Protection Policy.

  10. Customer also acknowledges that they are responsible for the accuracy of any data or information that Customer inputs with respect to M1 Cashback and ethical usage of M1 Cashback.

  11. Customer accepts the responsibility of regularly checking your account to ensure cashback has been properly credited and that your account balance is up to date. Customer must notify M1 of any omissions, incorrect entries or discrepancies concerning any transaction within 120 – 180 days after that transaction. Thereafter, Customer waive its right to make any claim against such issues, problems, omissions, inaccuracy or discrepancies. Any correction made by M1 after the 120 – 180 days period will be at M1’s discretion. M1 reserves the right not to correct any omissions, incorrect entries or discrepancies brought to our attention.

  12. M1 reserves the right to change terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. M1 may also upgrade, suspend or terminate any or all the services, features, links to merchant site on M1 Cashback, at any time, with or without notice. All rights not expressly granted under this Agreement are reserved by M1 and its licensors or the relevant third-party. Customer may wish to note the terms and conditions of third-party sites (including merchants) as well as any rights to change their terms and conditions.

  13. In case of any dispute, the decision of M1 shall be final and binding. Also, M1’s records shall be prima facie evidence of customer’s compliance with relevant terms and conditions as well as whether a transaction has been successfully tracked by M1 Cashback.

  14. M1 shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expenses or claim (whether direct, indirect or otherwise) arising from or in connection with the usage or attempted usage of the M1 Cashback by customer. 

  15. Customer agrees that all cashback will be credited to customer only if the relevant third-party (including merchants) provides the cashback to M1. M1 shall not be liable for any third-party’s failure to provide any cashback. It is customer’s responsibility to regularly check your account to ensure that cashback has been properly credited and that your billing account for the Bespoke line is up to date.

  16. M1 may from time to time, credit earned cashback into your billing account for the Bespoke line. Where cashback has been incorrectly credited to your billing account for the Bespoke line whether due to technical errors or subsequent discovery that customer has breached the terms and conditions of M1 Cashback or otherwise, M1 reserves the right to reverse any cashback wrongfully credited into your billing account.

  17. Details of any offer from third parties shown in M1+ App are based on information provided by the third-party. M1 does not undertake, represent or warrant the accuracy or completeness of any information provided by third-party shown in M1+ App. M1 disclaims any and all liability, responsibility or obligation with respect to any information (including inaccurate or incomplete information) provided by as well as changes to, termination or suspension of, any promotions offered by any third-party shown in M1+ App. Please check directly with the relevant third-party to confirm the applicable terms and conditions, availability and validity of their offers, and all other information relevant to the offer. Where there are any disputes with third-party with respect to the cashback a customer is due for a purchase, M1 will provide assistance on a commercially reasonable basis to assist the customer to resolve the customer’s dispute with the third-party.

  18. For the avoidance of doubt, while customer gains knowledge of an offer via M1+ App and may access a third-party’s site via a link in M1+ App, the third-party is the sole provider of all goods and/or services, operates independently from M1 and is not within M1’s control. Customer also agrees that M1 is neither the provider of goods and services sold by any third-party (including any merchant) nor the agent of any third-party. M1 disclaims any and all liability, responsibility or obligation with respect to all goods and/or services provided by third-party shown in M1+ App. Accordingly, customer understands, acknowledges and agrees that any procurement of any goods and/or services under any offer made by any third-party shall constitute a contract solely between the customer and the third-party, and M1 is not, nor will become, a party thereto. M1 shall not be liable for any loss, damage, liability, expense or claim (whether direct, indirect or otherwise) arising from or in connection with goods and/or services customer purchased from third-party, including any non-fulfilment or dispute over delivery or quality of goods or services sold by any third-party.

  19. You agree that M1 General Terms and Conditions published at www.m1.com.sg are deemed incorporated herein and shall apply to M1 Cashback as a Service (as defined in the M1 General Terms and Conditions). Also, M1 Cashback is a Service as referred to in Terms and Conditions for M1+ App and you agree that the Terms and Conditions for M1+ App shall apply to M1 Cashback. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the terms, such conflict or inconsistency shall, in the absence of any express agreement to the contrary, be resolved in a manner most favourable to M1, to the fullest extent permissible under applicable laws.

  20. If M1 reasonably believes that customer has failed to comply with all applicable terms and conditions from M1 and relevant third-party e.g. merchant, perpetrate or abet any fraud, dishonesty, unethical behaviour or abuse related to M1 Cashback, and/or misrepresent or provide of false or inaccurate information to M1 and/or any relevant third-party), M1 may suspend or terminate your M1 Cashback account without notice. Further, any cashback accumulated may be forfeited, reversed, clawbacked or cancelled. You may wish to check the terms and conditions of relevant third-party on any other implications of such activities.

  21. Customer agrees that customer is fully responsible for any and all taxes that may be accrued by customer with respect to M1 Cashback, whether due to cashback accumulated or enjoyed by customer or otherwise. It is customer’s responsibility to ascertain the applicable taxes arising from M1 Cashback.

  22. Customer acknowledges and agrees that to make any purchase that is successfully tracked, customer may need to disclose and by using M1 Cashback, agrees to disclose personal data to third-party for verification purposes and other purposes related to usage of M1 Cashback. Customer also agrees that customer will also have to leave M1+ App and may be subject to the third-party site’s terms and conditions. Third-party and its site may have a privacy policy and security that is different from M1 and M1 Cashback. Customer agrees that M1 shall not be responsible for or incur any liabilities in relation to the act, omission, breaches or other activities of any third-party and/or any information Customer disclose to any third party. We therefore strongly encourage Customer to check the terms and conditions of each site before any access or usage, especially before providing any credit or debit card details. M1 is not liable for any act or omissions, negligence, fraud or wilful default of any third party.

  23. A person who is not party to this agreement has no rights to enforce any terms of this agreement under Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act.

  24. As a registered user of M1 Cashback, you provide the necessary consent under Singapore legislation to receive any communications or correspondences that are related to M1 Cashback (such as updates to your account as well as offers from any merchants), via electronic mail and other means of communications.

  25. Notwithstanding the duration of your use, you acquire no ownership, rights to or interest in M1 Cashback (whether in relation to any service, intellectual property, content, features or other matters related to M1 Cashback).
