How to Activate/Deactivate Data Passport?
It’s all within your fingertips! You can activate both one month and monthly recurring Data Passports via My M1 App.
Data passport activation? You got it!
Step 1
Access the Roaming Tab at the bottom and select ‘Subscribe to Data Passport’.
Step 2
Enter a destination under ‘I’m going to’ section to select a Data Passport. Alternatively, select one of the popular destinations displayed in the bottom section.
Step 3
Select the desired subscription period by moving the slider accordingly (the default selection is Recurring subscription).
Select Subscribe to confirm your subscription.
You will receive a confirmation SMS when Data Passport is successfully subscribed.
Deactivate your Data Passport? No problem!
Step 1
Access the Roaming Tab at the bottom and select the subscribed Data Passport.
Step 2
Click on the Unsubscribe button.
Step 3
Select Confirm and Ok to unsubscribe. You will receive a confirmation SMS when Data Passport is unsubscribed.
Data passport activation? You got it! You can activate both one month and monthly recurring Data Passports via Manage My Account.

Select My Account.
Step 2
Expand Services and click on Roaming tab.
Step 3
By default, the Data Passport tab will be shown. Select a country to begin.
Step 4
All available Data Passports for the selected destination will be displayed.
Select the desired Data Passport by clicking on the toggle button.
Step 5
Select confirm.
You will receive a confirmation SMS once the service is activated.
Deactivate your Data Passport? No problem! You can deactivate both one month and monthly recurring Data Passports via Manage My Account.
Step 1
Select My Account.
Step 2
Expand Services and click on Roaming tab.
Step 3
Click on toggle button next to the Data Passport to be deactivated.
Step 4
Select Confirm.
You will receive a confirmation SMS once the service is activated.
How To Select Preferred Networks?
You can only use Data Passport or Unlimited Data Roaming with our Preferred Networks. Learn how to manually select them here.

Go to Settings and select Carrier.
Step 2
Turn off Automatic mode and select preferred network operator on the selection list.
Step 3
Go back to Settings and select Mobile.
Step 4
Turn on Mobile Data and Data Roaming.
Step 1
Go to Settings and select Tethering & networks.
Step 2
Select Mobile networks.
Step 3
Select Network operators.
Step 4
Select preferred network operator on the selection list.
Step 5
Go back to Mobile networks and Turn on Data enabled and Data Roaming.
