    Overseas Incoming Call Barring is a service provided by M1 that allows you to generally block incoming calls from international phone numbers regardless of whether you are in your home country or abroad.​

  2. How does Overseas Incoming Call Barring work?
    When you activate this service, incoming calls from foreign numbers will be blocked. However, if the caller is in Singapore and is on M1’s service using 3G, the call will go through.

    Note: Example of calls with local numbers routing from international gateways are numbers spoofed to mimic Singapore numbers which originate from overseas instead of Singapore networks

  3. Why would I want to use Overseas Incoming Call Barring?
    With this service, you can now block off and avoid unsolicited overseas international incoming calls from foreign numbers when you're in Singapore or when you are traveling abroad. It's also useful for reducing potential scams or spam calls.​

  4. How do I activate Overseas Incoming Call Barring?
    Activation will be available via My M1+ app.​

  5. Can I still make international calls when Overseas Incoming Call Barring is active?
    Yes, you can still make international calls when this service is active. It only blocks incoming calls from international numbers.​

  6. Is there a cost associated with using Overseas Incoming Call Barring?
    This service is FREE of charge till further notice. ​

  7. Can I activate Overseas Incoming Call Barring temporarily for a trip and then deactivate it when I return home?
    Yes, you can activate and deactivate this service on need basis. It's a flexible option for travellers who want to control overseas incoming calls during their trips.​
