I already have an M1 account for my business needs. Do I need to register for SME Hub again? Are my login credentials the same?
The SME Hub has a separate login from your existing M1 account. Please create a new login credential for SME Hub.

What are the benefits of buying from M1?

I am not sure if my company is considered an SME. Are these the right products for me?
Small Medium Enterprises (SME) in Singapore are defined as companies with at least 30% local shareholding, group annual sales turnover of less than $100 million or group, and employment size of not more than 200 workers.

How long would the registration for SME Hub Account take?
Creating an SME Hub Account is fast and easy! It can be done online in less than 5 minutes. Just follow these steps:

  1. On the online store, select the bundles and subscriptions that you will like to purchase and add to cart.
  2. Adjust the quantity you need accordingly and select Continue.
  3. Accept the Terms and Conditions.
  4. Select that you are a New Business Customer and create your account accordingly.
  5. Your SME Hub account has been successfully created and order will be sent for processing.
  6. Once your order is processed, you will receive the necessary subscription activation details via email.


What are the payment modes available on SME Hub?
Credit Card is the only payment mode available on SME Hub.

How often is the SME Hub refreshed?
Always keep a look out for SME Hub, there are always new exciting online exclusive bundles which you can get here.

Why should you choose Microsoft 365?
Microsoft 365 gives access to all of the functions from any device or location. It allows:

  • Facilitation of document and calendar sharing
  • Use of known applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and OneNote
  • Use of company e-mail as well as communication inside the company with the use of instant messaging or video calls
  • Instant and automatic access to the latest updates and bugs fixes

 

Is it possible for 5 people to make use of the 5 Office plans available within one Microsoft 365 license?
This activity is prohibited under the Microsoft license policy. However other collaboration tools under M365 including: OneDrive, team sites or Skype for Business application allows users to work on documents concurrently regardless of your location.


For 5 representatives to collaborate with each other, it is recommended for each of them to have a separate Microsoft 365 user license.

Which Microsoft 365 plan should I choose?
Before a decision is made you need to define your needs in terms of IT infrastructure. If the company already owns an Office license and all you need is the cloud functions (mailbox, OneDrive, team sites, videoconferences etc.), you should consider the Microsoft 365 Business Basic plan. Does the Skype for Business app allows you to have video conferences?
Skype for Business is a tool for instant messages, voice communication and videoconferences. The application is an ideal solution for organizing training sessions without the additional costs of business trips. Skype for Business allows you to record training sessions and then to share them with your meeting participants.

Which Office applications are included in the Microsoft 365 service?
By deciding to implement Microsoft 365 services it gives you access to the latest version of the software as well as Office applications that are always up to date.

When can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription at any time by writing in to our Corporate Customer Service at: corp_cs@m1.com.sg. However, do note that no refunds will be provided. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for further details.

What happens to the data after a subscription is cancelled?
We recommend a user to download and save their data in another chosen location before cancelling the subscription. Can I change my plan?
To increase or decrease the number of licenses for a particular subscription plan or add-ons, we recommend for you to log into your customer portal>Microsoft 365>Licenses to make the necessary adjustments.

Can I mix different Microsoft 365 plans?
You can mix Microsoft 365 plans. However, do note that each service plan has its own licensing limits.

How do I create a new Microsoft Tenant ID/Domain?

Do I need an Internet connection to work with Microsoft 365?
There is no need to be connected to the Internet to use Office applications that are installed and activated on your devices. Internet access is required during the installation and activation process, update installation and while managing subscription settings. The use of cloud services (e.g. email) also requires Internet access.

Will my trial information and settings be transferred to the Microsoft 365 subscription?
Your trial information and settings can be transferred to the Microsoft 365 subscription when you purchase an upgrade to a monthly pre-paid or annual plan of the same service plan which you trial for before the trail period ends.
