What is M1 Smart Home?
M1 Smart Home is to equip your home with the most advanced technologies to provide you with the utmost convenience, comfort and enjoyment. You can now connect and control household appliances – such as lighting and air-conditioning - wirelessly.

Yes. M1 Smart Home bundle is not just for new homes – we provide a retrofit solution that allows homes not under renovation to enjoy the same benefits of home automation, even without extra wiring.
What can I expect during the installation appointment for the Deluxe Smart Home/Premium Smart Home?
M1 technician will be installing and syncing all the smart devices to your mobile devices.

Deluxe Smart Home
  • Install and sync up to 3 mobile phones
  • Sync up to 3 IR devices to the Smart Station



Premium Smart Home
  • Install and sync up to 6 mobile phones
  • Sync up to 9 IR devices to the Smart Stations


Beside the Deluxe Smart Home / Premium Smart Home packages, can I purchase additional smart devices?
Yes, you can purchase additional smart devices and engage our installer to assist to install the additional smart devices on the same installation appointment. Additional installation charge applies per additional smart devices.
Can I expand my home smart devices in the future?
Yes, you can visit any M1 Shop to purchase additional smart devices and opt for installation. Installation service will be charge separately.
Can your installer assist to link and sync the smart devices to my existing smart speaker (e.g. Google Mini or Echo Mini)?
Yes. Our installer will be able to assist in syncing your existing smart speaker. Additional charge of $30 (with GST) will be charged per smart speaker connectivity.

Kyla Smart Device

  • Kyla smart devices come with one (1) year carry-in warranty by the manufacturer.

  • Warranty period shall be valid for one (1) year since the date of purchase (it’s subject to purchase invoice; if lost, the device’s date of production shall prevail). For any malfunction caused by inferior quality (normal usage), the company will repair it for you free of charge. Meanwhile, exchange of goods (due to quality problem) is available to you within seven days.

  • Exceptions are as follows:
    • Any malfunction or defect caused by improper usage conditions or environment;
    • Any malfunction or defect caused by improper installation, usage, unauthorized maintenance, modification, force majeure or external causes;
    • Any malfunction or defect resulted from applying any third-party product, software or component;
    • The product’s warranty period expires;
    • Any malfunction or damage not caused by the product’s design, technology and quality etc.

Yale Smart Lock

  • Warranty for Yale Digital Lock is valid against any manufacturing defects in material for a continuous period of twenty four (24) months from the date of installation. (2 years full on-site warranty)

  • ASSA ABLOY Singapore will provide basic repair and /or parts replacement service without charge during the warranty period subjected to the following limitations and exclusion:
    1. Malfunctions or damage resulting natural disaster, fires, civil unrest and/or accidents.
    2. Defects cause by misuse, physical damage, abnormal operation or handling, negligence and/or any unauthorized tampering/alterations/repairs by any other than ASSA ABLOY Singapore.
    3. Battery leakage (even when the original battery is being used).


  • A one to one replacement will be possible if there is more than 2 defects repair work reported within the full warranty period.

  • Labour fee of S$65.00 is chargeable for on-site service if “defects” are found not covered under our warranty scheme during the warranty period. Eg. Low battery, door alignment issue, improper usage of lock

  • Warranty will not be cover when user misplace the Master pin-code in Advance mode. There will be charges of S$160.00 for change of PCB board.

  • Locksmithing work is chargeable if buyer does not have the backup (provided either as a key, pin number, RFID Access, Fingerprint) to open a partial faulty lock even if the lock is still under warranty with the following rates;
    1. 0900 – 1859 hrs – S$150.00
    2. 1900 – 0859 hrs – S$250.00


  • ASSA ABLOY Singapore will not be responsible for any loss of property due to malfunctions or defects of the product.
