New subscribers who create their BlackBerry Internet Service accounts from the computer will need to create a user name and password to access their BlackBerry Internet Service account. This will turn off the automatic login feature
- Ensure that your BlackBerry Smartphone is connected to the M1 mobile network.
- Log on to M1’s BlackBerry Internet Service website at www.m1.blackberry.com/
Select < Create New Account>.
- Read the license agreement carefully.
- Select < Yes> to indicate that you have read and understood the license agreement.
Select < I Agree> to be bound by the license agreement and continue with the setup process.
Enter the Device PIN and IMEI / ESN and select < Continue>.
Enter your user name and password. Select < Next> to continue.
Note: Please create a strong password by including punctuation marks, numbers, capital and lowercase letters. It is a good idea to ensure that your password does not resemble your name or account name.
If your preferred user name is already in use by another BlackBerry Internet Service subscriber, suggestions of similar available user names are provided. Once you have chosen an alternative or re-entered a new user name, select < Next>.
Your BlackBerry Internet Service account is now ready for adding new email accounts or creating a BlackBerry email address.
