    Log in to Manage My Account (MMA) with your Mobile no./ User ID and Password. Select “Activate Services”.

    After signing up, you will receive a subscription email, which includes a download link and your licence key.

    A one-time $10.70 (GST inclusive) administration charge will be applicable when customers terminate their M1 Mobile Security service within the first 3 months free subscription period.

    Yes, you can either subscribe to M1 Internet Security (3PC/1PC License) or M1 Ultimate Security (3 Device/1PC License). A total number of 10 licenses can be subscribed by each M1 postpaid customer.

  6. Will the additional subscription of 1 Internet Security PC license be entitled to enjoy the first 3 months of subscription free during the promotional period?

    No, the promotion is applicable to only 3 PC license bundle signup (up to 3 sets) during this promotional period only.

  1. I already have an existing anti-virus software installed in my computer; can I run M1 Internet Security and my anti-virus software concurrently?

    Upon installation of Trend Micro Internet Security software, you will be prompted to confirm the removal of any other anti-virus software, to ensure the optimal performance of the software.

  2. How long does it take for my computer to be fully protected?

    Your computer is fully protected immediately after a quick installation of any of the M1 Security Suite of services.

  3. What should I do if my Internet disconnects halfway during software download?

    You can re-download the M1 Internet Security software again from the same web page.

  4. Can I move my M1 Ultimate Security protection from one device to another as and when necessary?

    As long as you move your protection within your licence period, you can do so any time. However, if you already installed on 3PCs and want to switch one licence to an Android device, you need to uninstall the product on one of your PC to free up the seat first.

  5. What is the difference between this M1 Mobile Security VAS and the free Trend Micro Mobile Security version available at Google Play?

    The free version from Google Play provides the basic 5 free features including an anti-virus scanner, 50MB of cloud storage, privacy scanner for Facebook and a 30-day trial of the premium features. The M1 Mobile Security VAS at just $1.50/month includes all 18 premium features and first 3 months’ subscription is free.

Parental Controls

  1. How do I set up Parental Controls for M1 Internet Security?
    Step 1: Click on the Parental Controls tab to activate the feature.

    Step 2: The first time you access the feature, you will be prompted to set up a default password

    Step 3: You will see the Parental Controls introductory screen. Click OK to continue.

    Step 4: You can easily turn Parental Controls on or off.

    Step 5: Click on the Website Filter tab in Parental Controls to customise each profile based on the sub-categorised filter options or simply vary the website filtering settings based on the auto-default age-group settings.

    Step 6: Click on the Web Access Schedule tab in Parental Controls to pre-determine the number of hours and days (Weekdays/ Weekends) of Internet usage.

  2. What are the categories of website filters available?

    The Parental Controls let you filter different categories of websites based on three age groups: 3-7 (Child), 8-12 (Pre-teen) and 13-17 (Teen). The list below shows which specific categories are blocked by default for each age group.

  2. In future, how do I update my M1 Internet Security software to newer editions?

    M1 Internet Security will inform subscribers through email about the availability of new software updates. Upgrading your M1 Internet Security to the latest version is free as long as your subscription is valid. To update your M1 Internet Security, simply follow the instructions below:

    1. Take note of your M1 Internet Security license Key
    2. Uninstall the older version of M1 Internet Security Software
    3. Download the software update by following instructions in the email provided and run the installer file
    4. Accept terms of license agreement
    5. Enter the license key and select "Regular Installation"
    6. Once activated, your M1 Internet Security is updated to the latest software version

  3. What should I do if I need to change my email address after signup?

    Call our customer service hotline at 1627 to make changes to your email address.

  4. If I download and install M1 Internet Security/ M1 Ultimate Security for more than 3 PCs, will the 4th PC be able to be activated successfully?

    A prompt will be activated when a user tries to activate the 4th PC. After installing the M1 Internet Security/Ultimate Security software and entering the license key, the user would have to key in the email address that was previously entered on the first activation of M1 Internet Security/Ultimate Security. Once the user has keyed in the email address for the 4th PC, he/she will be prompted to deactivate protection from one of the 3 previously activated PCs in order to activate protection for the 4th PC. The user will be required to enter a new computer name for the 4th PC and the deactivated PC will not be able to receive any anti virus updates.

    For Fibre Broadband customers, do call 1627 for more details on how to retrieve your password for MMA.
    For Mobile customers, you will be required to register for an account on MMA if this is the first time you're using the portal. To sign up, simply follow the instructions below:

    1. Enter your mobile number in order to receive an activation code via SMS
    2. Enter the following activation code and set your new password
    3. Edit your profile and mailing address
    4. Click on 'Services' to select M1 Internet Security as a value-added service sign up.

  4. I've signed up online, what's next?

    You will receive an email shortly through the email address you've indicated in the email. You will find a download link and your license key. Download the software through the download link and enter your license key upon successful installation.

  5. I've signed up online but have yet to receive an email as indicated. What do I do?

    If you do not receive an email after 2 hours of a successful submission of the subscription, kindly call 1627 and our customer service officer will be able to assist you.

  6. I am not a M1 subscriber, can i still subscribe to M1 Security Suite of Services?

    Currently, M1 Security Suite of Services is only available for M1 postpaid customers.
