M1 Now Supports Android Zero-touch enrollment

M1 corporate customers can take advantage of Google’s fast, simple, and secure deployment method

SINGAPORE, 24 June 2019 – M1 announced it is now an official device reseller partner for Android zero-touch enrollment. This seamless and secure deployment method enables companies to pre-configure settings, management, and applications for their employees, so that devices are up and running right out of the box.

With a few simple steps, companies that purchase Android devices from M1 can easily assign devices to users through the zero-touch online platform, as well as configure and customise individual enterprise mobility management (EMM) policies. Devices will be automatically enrolled with the EMM policies when powered on.

Devices purchased from M1 can be added to a company’s zero-touch enrollment account, making them ready for configuration for enterprise deployment. Employees only need to follow a few simple prompts and start using their devices with management and application configurations all set.

By adopting zero-touch enrollment, M1 is supporting a simplified end-user experience for companies, as this automated deployment method reduces the dependency on IT support and simplifies the delivery and activation process. Companies leveraging this automated deployment system will also be able to quickly deploy a fleet of Android devices at scale with enforced management and security, create device configurations in the cloud and have them automatically pushed to devices during setup, and to directly assign devices to companies for management.
