SINGAPORE, 23 November 2018 - M1 Limited (M1) celebrated its annual "Bring Your Kids to Work Day" today at its corporate headquarters in International Business Park. Themed “‘Beach Fete”, the event welcomed over 180 children to enjoy a day of exciting and fun-filled activities at the facility, as well as to check out their parents’ work places, meet their parent’s colleagues and learn more about what working at M1 looks like.

As a company that advocates work-life balance and supports pro-family initiatives, M1 ensured that its "Bring Your Kids to Work Day" was filled with family-friendly activities for children across various ages, including sand excavating, speed boat racing, face painting and children crafts, topped with delectable carnival snacks and bites.

“M1’s annual ‘Bring Your Kids To Work Day' has become a highly anticipated event each year. Apart from sharing a delightful and memorable day with parents and their colleagues, the children can now make a connection to their parents’ work environment, and better appreciate what their parents do at work," said Ivan Lim, Director of Corporate Communications & Investor Relations, M1.

The hours flew by and at the end of the day, many of the children not only had a great positive shared experience with their parents and co-workers, but also souvenirs to bring home. "I was excited to bring my son, Matthias along with me to office today to have a fun day at work with my colleagues and their kids. He may not understand what I do at work yet, but he certainly enjoyed himself and will probably remember my work place for a while," said Priscilla Chan, Assistant General Manager, Business Development, M1. "I got to operate a sand excavator, ate candy floss, yummy burgers, coconut ice cream and I hope to play again at my Mum’s office soon," said Matthias Ong, 4.
