It is a call back service that allows customers to make cheaper roaming calls using SmartRoam *138*.
Will SmartRoam calls be diverted to receiver’s voicemail?
No, calls diverted to voicemail will not be connected.
Can I just call directly without dialling the SmartRoam *138* code?
No, customers will not be able to make SmartRoam calls.
 
What happens if I am unable to complete typing my SMS within 40 seconds and will I be charged?
Customers will receive a prompt informing the request has timed-out. Customers may wish to try again.
If I am roaming in Malaysia, can I send a SmartRoam SMS to my friend who is roaming in Hong Kong?
Yes, as long as your friend holds a Singapore number from any service provider, he will be able to receive the SmartRoam SMS, even when he is roaming.
Can I send a SmartRoam SMS to a friend in Malaysia who is holding a Malaysia SIM card?
No, customers can only send SmartRoam SMS to a Singapore number from any provider.
Can I send a SmartRoam SMS to multiple recipients concurrently?
No, at the moment, customers can only send SmartRoam SMS to a single recipient.
Who can use SmartRoam SMS?
SmartRoam SMS is only available for M1 Postpaid customers.
