M1 Mobile Broadband Promotion is open to new/existing customers who are not under any other M1 device contract. 24 months' device contract applies. Customers are entitled to purchase a new Mobile Broadband device at the advertised retail price. Prices inclusive of GST. Charges for any premature termination or downgrade of bill plan will apply. $37.45 SIM card and $10.70 registration charges apply for new line connection. $37.45 SIM card charge is also applicable for SIM exchange. Customer should transfer/ back up SIM data before proceeding with a SIM exchange.
Upon application of an M1
Mobile Broadband service, customer is required to purchase an M1 3G SIM card to
be used with a Mobile Broadband device ("Device"). The customer may either
procure the Device from M1 on a free rental basis, or on a purchase basis. The
free rental basis shall apply only to one Device per customer. Devices on free
rental basis may only be used with the M1 3G SIM card.
Customers who rent the Device are required to keep the Device in good condition
in accordance with the instructions given. M1 will remain the owner of the
rented Device at all times. Customer must not modify or allow anyone to modify
the rented Device. The following charges apply in relation to the rented Device:

For existing customers on V plans: Free incoming calls, $0.08/min outgoing local calls and IDD 021
Calls ($0.08/min to selected destinations) , roaming and SMS usage will be
charged separately. Selected destinations: Bangladesh, Brunei, Canada, China,
Hong Kong, India, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Puerto Rico, Russia, South Korea,
Taiwan, Thailand and USA. IDD 021 calls at $0.08/min are also applicable for
voice calls made to any residential line in Australia, UK and New Zealand, while
voice calls made to any mobile line are at fixed rates of $0.28/min, $0.30/min
and $0.50/min respectively. Local call rate applies to all IDD calls made.
The Mobile Broadband usage
benefit is applicable to local usage only. For roaming usage, foreign operators'
/ 3G / GPRS / 4G rates apply.
In the case of a rented
Device, the Customer shall return the rented Device in good working condition to
M1 within 7 days of termination by M1, failing which the Device shall be
considered as lost and customer shall be liable to pay the relevant charges as
stated in Clause 2 herein to M1. If customer chooses to terminate the M1 Mobile
Broadband service and the Device has been procured on a rental basis, the
termination shall only be effective upon return of the rented Device in good
working condition to M1.
In addition to any
applicable amount set forth in Clause 5 herein and without prejudice to Clause
5, in the event that the Device has been procured on a purchase basis under an
M1 Device subsidy contract and the customer’s subscription to the M1 Mobile
Broadband service is terminated during the subscription commitment period
specified in the M1 Device subsidy contract, the customer shall pay the
applicable early termination penalty as set forth in M1 Device subsidy contract.
If a customer chooses to
change/recontract an existing Mobile Broadband plan (with a rented Device) to
any of M1's non-Mobile Broadband plans or any other M1 Mobile Broadband plans
(which do not come with a rented Device), such bill plan change will only be
effective upon the Customer's return of the rented Device in good working
condition to M1.
Mobile Broadband plans are
not eligible for promotion handset prices, with 2-year handset contracts.
M1 will not be responsible
for any interruption, disruption to or deterioration in the quality, reliability
or accuracy of the Mobile Broadband service or any technical issue that may
arise from or in relation to any Mobile Broadband device or hardware that
customer may have connected to the Device.
M1 does not warrant that
the Mobile Broadband services will be uninterrupted and/or error-free.
All Devices provided to
customers by M1 are covered under and subject to the terms of warranty from the
relevant manufacturers. M1 is not responsible for any defects of the Device due
to manufacturer's or customer's fault and if applicable, any hardware which
customers may have connected to the Device.
Customers shall ensure that
the Device provided with the Mobile Broadband service is compatible with their
PC/notebook's system. M1 will not be responsible should the device fail to work
on the customer's PC/notebook system.
All M1 Mobile Broadband
plans exclude voice calls, sms, roaming, international calls and other special
are subject to network availability, device capability and other conditions.
M1 Mobile Broadband service
speed might vary depending on coverage, location, devices used, network traffic
and the type of data being transmitted.
Any data usage outside of
Singapore is not included in the data bundle offered in the M1 Mobile Broadband
M1 shall not be liable for
any costs, loss or damage (whether direct or indirect), or for loss of revenue,
loss of profits or any consequential loss whatsoever as a result of your using
the Broadband service.
Enterprise / Corporate
customer shall subscribe to M1's Mobile Broadband service for an initial period
of 6 months ("Initial Period"). In the event that, during the Initial Period,
- the customer prematurely terminates the subscription to the M1 Mobile
Broadband service; or
- the customer’s subscription is terminated by M1 due
to the customer’s payment defaults or contractual breach, customer shall pay M1
for subscription on a pro-rated basis for the remaining months of the Initial
Period based on M1's non-promotional rate of the M1 Mobile Broadband service,
irrespective of whether the Device has been procured on a rental basis or a
Customer may not temporarily disconnect the M1 Mobile Broadband
service during the Initial Period.
M1's terms and conditions for the provision of services, including the M1 General Terms and Conditions and any applicable specific terms and conditions and plans, as published at www.m1.com.sg, are hereby incorporated herein and shall also apply to the M1 Mobile Broadband service. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between any of these terms, such conflict or inconsistency shall be resolved in a manner most favourable to M1 and its affiliates, as determined by M1 at its sole and absolute discretion.
