1. Free bundled data extends to local usage unless otherwise stated. Excess usage above the Free Local Data Bundle is charged at $10.70 per GB and capped at $188.32 per month. While roaming overseas, prevailing data roaming charges will apply. Local mobile broadband data services are available with theoretical download speed of 21Mbps and typical download speed range of 3.9 - 9.9Mbps (at fixed locations). Local voice and video call usage is charged at 16.05 cents per minute, with a minimum one-minute charge and billed per second thereafter. Airtime charges apply for mobile calls made to "1800" local toll free service numbers. Excess SMS is charged at 5.35 cents each and excess MMS is charged at 32.1 cents (30kb and below)/ 85.6 cents (above 30kb) each.

  2. 4G VAS is applicable on SurfLite, SurfReg and SurfMax only. Monthly subscription of 4G VAS is waived permanently. Theoretical download speed of 300Mbps and typical download speed range of 41.4 - 103.4Mbps (at fixed locations) is only available with 4G service on compatible 4G devices.

  3. "Unlimited" Calls, Messaging and Data usage if applicable, are restricted to personal use and non-commercial purposes only. Any abuse, such as, but not limited to, SMS/MMS broadcasts or sending unsolicited material (Spam), will entitle M1 to revoke the customer's benefits, in M1's sole discretion. “Unlimited” SMS/MMS is only valid for SMS/MMS sent to any local mobile numbers. “Unlimited Calls” are only applicable to local voice and video calls. For the avoidance of doubt, M1’s Traffic Management Policy will apply.

  4. Customers are required to sign the relevant Mobile Broadband Device Contract where applicable and will be bound by the terms and conditions therein. All device offers are only applicable with a 2-year contract on SurfLite, SurfReg and SurfMax, unless otherwise stated. All device offers featured are applicable to new line connections, existing customers with no handset contract or who have completed at least 20 months of their existing contracts. Additional re-contract fee of $250 will apply on device offers for customers who have completed at least 11 months of selected contracts. Maximum of 2 concurrent contracts are applicable per eligible active line. Mobile Broadband plans are not eligible for handset offers with 2-year handset contracts.

  5. For new line sign-ups on M1 Mobile Broadband plans, a minimum 3-month service commitment contract applies. In the event that, during the service commitment period, a customer prematurely terminates the subscription to the M1 Mobile Broadband service (“Service/s”); or a customer’s subscription is terminated by M1 for payment defaults or contractual breach, customer shall pay to M1 the subscription on a pro-rated basis for the remaining months of the Service commitment period based on M1's non-promotional rate of the Service. Customers may not temporarily disconnect a Service during the Service commitment period.

  6. The Services are provided on an “as is” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of title or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Notwithstanding the generality of the foregoing, M1 will not be responsible for any interruption, disruption to or deterioration in the quality, reliability or accuracy of the Services or any technical issue that may arise from or in relation to any third party device or hardware that customer may have connected to the device. If customers intend to connect the device to a third party device or hardware, customers must ensure that such third party device or hardware is compatible with the device. M1 does not warrant that data services will be uninterrupted, continuously available, reliable, bug-free, virus-free and/or error-free. HSPA/3G/GPRS/4G services are subject to network availability, device capability and other applicable conditions. Customers acknowledge and agree that the use of M1’s data services is at customers’ sole risk, and that the actual data transfer speed in respect of the services is dependent on factors beyond M1’s control, including without limitation, the configuration and specifications of your devices, types of data transferred, location and performance of other devices, computer equipment or systems involved in the transfer, overall network condition and number of users accessing our network and their compliance with our rules and policies in respect thereof. M1 shall not be liable for any costs, loss or damage (whether direct or indirect), or for loss of revenue, loss of profits or any consequential loss whatsoever as a result of your use of the Services.

  7. The Services provide access to and the transmission of Internet content that M1 has no obligation or ability to review, monitor or control and M1 will not be responsible for any Internet content accessed via the Services or for any contents disseminated to the Internet from your account, whether accessed by you or other persons.

  8. Customers shall ensure that the SIM cards are used on compatible devices. M1 will not be responsible for any failure or damage to any device whatsoever due to, caused by or arising in relation to misuse of the SIM cards.

  9. Separate $37.45 SIM card charge and $10.70 registration charges apply per new line connection. $37.45 SIM card charge is also applicable per SIM exchange. Customers are encouraged to transfer / back up SIM data before proceeding with a SIM exchange. A charge of $21.40 is applicable for each change of Mobile / Mobile Broadband plan, but will be waived for lateral change and plan upgrades.

  10. All prices stated are inclusive of 7% GST and are subject to change in accordance with the prevailing GST rate. All usage charges are based on a monthly recurring service unless otherwise stated.

  11. The terms on this page apply to all Mobile Broadband plans, unless otherwise stated by M1. M1 reserves the right to amend or vary these terms and conditions at any time. M1 will, where it is practicable to do so, give you advance notice (which may be through written notice, email, letters, M1 website, bills or such other forms as M1 deems appropriate) of such changes. Your use of M1’s services is subject to your compliance with M1’s General Terms and Conditions available at www.m1.com.sg. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between any terms, such conflict or inconsistency shall, in the absence of any express agreement to the contrary, be resolved in a manner most favourable to M1, to the fullest extent permissible under applicable laws.
