Like most of our M Card customers, you’re probably hit by the travel bug, and possess a wanderlust to conquer the entire world. Well, you’re in luck! The M Card is a great travel companion. You can bring it with you to over 230 countries and territories – which should cover just about anywhere you might want to go.

What's more, when you roam in selected networks and countries, you can enjoy instant connection with Direct Dial on your M Card, a first in Singapore. It's now easy to call home for just about anything.

You can even check your voicemail, check your call credits or expiry date, top up your card value and even call us for assistance when you are overseas.
 
 
Using your M Card while roaming
On SmartRoam
1. a. To call a Singapore number, dial:
  *138*tel. no#Call
  b. To make a call to other countries, dial:
  *138*+country codearea codetel. no#Call
   
2. The message “Accepted” will appear on your mobile's screen.
   
3. Once the connection to the Singapore/overseas number is made, we will call you back. As soon as you take the call, you may talk to the other party.
 
On Direct Dial (selected networks and countries)
1. Select the specific operator in the roaming country.
  a. To call a Singapore number, dial:
  +65tel. noCall
  b. To make a call to other countries, dial:
  +country codearea codetel. noCall
 
 
Sending SMS while roaming
Key in your message and send to:
+country codearea codetel. noCall

To Activate+ Voicemail while overseas
To use Voicemail while roaming, you must divert your calls to your mailbox under “Call Divert All Calls”.

 
 
To Retrieve Messages Overseas
When you are using your M Card overseas, you must first deactivate Call Divert. You can then access your Voicemail box by sending the following message:
*138**#Call
Your phone will ring when the system has connected to your Voicemail box.
 
 
Checking Call Credits
To check your remaining call credits while overseas, simply enter:
#100*2#Call
You will then receive a message on your remaining call credits.
 
 
Checking Expiry Date
To check the expiry date of your M Card while overseas, simply enter:
#100*3#Call
You will then receive a message on the expiry date of your M Card.
