  10. Can I send/receive MMS to/from SingTel and StarHub customers?

Yes. You can send/receive MMS to/from SingTel/StarHub customers.

  11. Why can't I receive MMS from SingTel/StarHub customers?

It may be due to one of the following reasons:

Your MMS phone is not configured or incorrectly configured.
Your mobile phone is switched off for a long time (number of hours varies with different operators).
Your phone could have failed to retrieve the message due to a problem with the phone.
Your friend could be sending MMS content with a file name containing non-supported characters.

Please note that only the following restrictions apply to MMS content across the networks:

The characters supported for file names: a-z, 0-9
The file name must be a single word. For example, the file cannot be "Tin Cup" with a space in between the two words.

You should advise your friend to re-name the file and re-send to you. If you are sending an MMS with a file size bigger than what the recipient's phone model can support, the recipient might not receive anything.

  12. Why is there a delay in receiving MMS from the other operators?
It may be due to one of the following reasons:

Your phone was not available at the time the system tried to send the message to you.
Message retrieval could be disrupted by an incoming call, low battery or simply roaming out of coverage.

  13. Can I use MMS while I am overseas?
Yes, you can send and receive MMS in countries where M1 offers GPRS Roaming. Click here for the list of countries.

  15. Can M1 customers send/receive MMS to/from SingTel/StarHub customers when both parties are roaming?
Yes. Both parties must be in countries with GPRS roaming coverage.

  16. How do I retrieve MMS from SingTel/StarHub customers if I'm holding a non-MMS phone?
You will receive an SMS notification to inform you to log on to our MMS Retrieval Centre to retrieve your MMS.

  17. How does a SingTel/StarHub customer with a non-MMS phone retrieve MMS sent from an M1 customer?
The SingTel/StarHub customer will receive an SMS notification to inform him to retrieve the MMS through the respective operator's MMS Retrieval Centre.

  18. If an MMS inter-op problem occurs, should both sender and recipient give feedback to their respective operator?
