How to activate Data Roaming
You can activate Data Roaming by calling our Customer Service Hotline at 1627 or via the following channels:
 
 
Via Manage My Account
Go to www.m1.com.sg > Manage My Account > Services > Enable/ Disable Data Roaming. Log in with mobile number and password, verify ID under Register for Roaming, then select Enable Data Roaming Service, and submit.
 
 
 
Via Interactive SMS
Send "data" to 5555.

You will then receive a follow-up SMS requesting confirmation by sending "data <DDMMYYYY>" (Date of Birth) to 5555. E.g. data 30121987
 
 
Via M1 Xplorer
Go to M1 Xplorer on your mobile phone, then click on VAS Registration menu > Activate Data Roaming. Click Accept when prompted, and Enter Date of Birth in DDMMYYYY format.

Click Accept again when prompted.
 
 
 
Via My M1 App
Key in your NRIC and mobile number, then tap My Account > Activate Roaming Services.

Key in your Manage My Account password, then tap "Activate Data Roaming".

Key in your Date of Birth in DDMMYYYY format, then tap "Confirm".
