  1. What happens if I am unable to complete typing my SMS within 40 seconds?
   

You will receive a prompt informing you that the request has timed-out. You can resend another request.

     
  2. If I am timed-out of my request, will I be charged for the SmartRoam SMS?
    No. Only messages that are sent successfully will be charged.
     
  3. If I am roaming in Malaysia, can I send a Smart Roam SMS to my friend who is roaming in Hong Kong?
    Yes, as long as your friend is a subscriber of any service provider in Singapore, he will be able to receive the SmartRoam SMS, even when he is roaming.
     
  4. Can I send a SmartRoam SMS to multiple recipients concurrently?
    No, at the moment, you can only send the SmartRoam SMS to a single recipient.
     
  5. I am an M Card user. Can I use SmartRoam SMS?
   

No, at the moment, this service is only available for M1 PostPaid customers.

     
  6. Can I send a SmartRoam SMS to a friend in Malaysia who is holding a Malaysia SIM card?
    No, you will not be able to because currently you can only send SmartRoam SMS to Singaporean subscribers and not subscribers of service providers in other countries.
