| | No. You will only be charged once your call is connected. |

| 13. | Will I be reimbursed if I lose the 1818 card or if it is damaged? |
| | No. You are responsible for the card after purchase. During purchase, please ensure that the card is not damaged, and that the security seal has not been tampered with or scratched. |

| 14. | What happens if the number that I called is busy or if there is no answer? |
| | If the number you called is busy, you will hear a busy tone. The system will then prompt you to enter the country code, area code and telephone number again. If the call is unanswered, please press ** to make a consecutive call. |

| 15. | What should I do if I cannot get through to the access number 1818? |
| | It is possible that there may be network congestion at the time of your call. Or it could be that the phone you are dialling from does not support 1818 service. Please check and try calling from another phone. |

| | No, 1818 is only applicable for outbound calls, ie. calls from Singapore to overseas. |

| 18. | Can I extend the expiry date of my card if my date of purchase is less than 3 months before the printed expiry date? |
| | No, the expiry date will not be extended. Your card will still be valid for 90 days if you make your first call before the printed expiry date. For example, if the printed expiry date on the card is Dec 2004 and you make your first call on 1 Nov 2004, the expiry date will be 30 Jan 2005. |

| 19. | Why is there another expiry date printed on the card packaging? |
| | The printed expiry date indicates the life span of the card. To extend the validity of your card, you have to make your first call before the printed date. |

| 20. | Will I be charged for local airtime when I make overseas calls using mobile phones? |
| | When you make an international call with the 1818 card using a mobile phone, you will be billed for the local airtime charges by the relevant telecom operator and the ICC 1818 rate. Only M Card users making 1818 calls will not be billed for local airtime charges as the call is toll-free. |

| 21. | Can I use the 1818 card to make premium calls? |
| | No, you cannot make premium calls (audio line calls) with 1818 service. |

| 22. | Can I transfer the remaining value in my old card to a new card? |
| | Yes, you can use Card Merging to transfer the remaining value in your old card to a new card. The total on your new card must not exceed $20. |

| 23. | How many times can I perform Card Merging on the same card? |
| | You may transfer as many times as you wish as long as the total value of the card does not exceed $20. However, for security reasons, Card Merging will not be allowed on the same card after 180 days. That means you will not be able to hold on to the same card for more than 180 days. You will then need to transfer any remaining value to another new card. |

| 24. | Can I transfer an 8-pin card value to another 8-pin card? |
| | Yes, you can. However, you will not be able to transfer a 10-pin card value to an 8-pin card. |

| 25. | What if the payphones within a particular area, eg. Chinatown, fail to provide 1818 service? |
| | This could be a payphone problem, possibly due to a service breakdown in the area. You might try calling from another area nearby. Please call us at 1800-843 8288 (toll-free, 9am - 9pm daily) if you still encounter any other problem. |

| 26. | Is there any limit to the number of 1818 cards I can purchase via AXS machine? |
| | No, there is no limit but you can only select 1 card per transaction. |
